The Mr. Men and Little Miss comic strips were a series of American comic strips by Roger Hargreaves and Paul Sellers, the creator of the comic strip series "Eb and Flo" who worked out of England to produce the comic strip series for The Daily Mirror, The Green Sheet, and The Journal's comic section in America.
About[]
The comic series began in 1983 replacing the long running comic strip series "Priscilla's Pop" which began during the 1940's and ended in 1983. The strip ran from 1983 to 1988.
About The Comic Series[]
The strip and it's gentle-yet-direct humor is aimed at kids but grown-ups also can share in the adventures of Mr. Happy, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Bump, Mr. Grumpy, Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Shy and all their friends. The strips characters are drawn with simple shapes and uncluttered lines for easy reading; the words used with the drawings can help develop a child's vocabulary and conversation skills and the perception of personality traits and characteristics.
