Synopsis[]

Trees are growing all over Dillydale! The Mr. Men and Little Misses are taking notice. Mr. Rude gets stuck in a tree tunnel, Mr. Quiet fails to escape his neighbors in his tree house. And Mr. Bump and Little Miss Scary venture into the rainforest to find a certain frog.

Plots[]

  • Mr. Quiet, Little Miss Helpful, Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Noisy's Plot: Mr. Quiet has a peaceful time in his tree house until Miss Helpful, Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Noisy climb in. Miss Helpful mentioned that they were a long way up. Soon Mr. Noisy accidentally made the ladder fall on Mr. Bump and he didn't bother putting the ladder back in position causing the four to get stuck.
  • Advertisement (US version only): Little Miss Magic does an ad for her tree wand, a wand that grows any tree to three times its size.
  • Mr. Rude, Mr. Happy, Mr. Strong, Little Miss Sunshine, and Little Miss Curious' Plot: Mr. Rude's car gets stuck in a tree tunnel even after Mr. Happy said that he wouldn't fit. Mr. Strong tries to push him through but to no avail. Later he reverses over Little Miss Sunshine and Little Miss Curious and goes through the tree tunnel without his roof while splattering everyone with mud. When he drives through the next tunnel, he finds that he's sitting next to a bear causing him to retreat from his car and run away. All the while, Little Miss Sunshine sings of Mr. Rude's misfortunes.
  • Mr. Bump and Little Miss Scary's Plot: Mr. Bump takes Little Miss Scary with him to the rainforest to find the Tiny Orange Speckled Tree Frog. After Little Miss Scary scares Mr. Bump several times, the duo end up finding the frog, who is anything but tiny and ends up eating Mr. Bump and spitting him out.

Trivia[]

  • Little Miss Calamity, who was removed from the series due to Chorion's dislike of her, makes a cameo appearance as a statue Little Miss Helpful gives to Mr. Quiet.
    • Miss calamity figure
      Miss Calamity statue
The statue resembles a real image of an Australian plastic figurine that was part of a store-exclusive-turned-blind bag series (hence why realistic bright spots can be seen on it), though the color was changed to bronze and covered with texture spots, the face was changed to a proud expression, and the legs were replaced with a plaque stand. Like with Little Miss Calamity herself, the statue is in the quarter view where more of the front hair when it's flipped over.
  • Excluding "Surprises", this is the only time Little Miss Curious spoke in the show.
  • One of the toys Little Miss Helpful has is Optiumus Prime from the Transformers series. A robot version of the character previously appeared in Mall.
  • Mr. Bump also wanted to look for the frog in "Full Moon". After being frequently startled by Little Miss Scary's antics, Mr. Bump finds the frog, and it's anything but tiny. The frog ends up scaring Little Miss Scary then devours Mr. Bump and spits him out.
  • After Mr. Rude drives away from the tree tunnel, he is heard humming, "La Marsellaise", the national anthem of France

Dub edits[]

  • When Little Miss Curious asks Mr. Happy about the tree tunnel, she refers to him by name in the UK dub.
  • After Mr. Bump gets eaten by the frog, he says generic interjections of disgust, but in the dub, he exclaims "Yuck, warm frog goo!".

Goofs[]

  • The statue clips over the wagon when Miss Helpful pulls it out.
  • When Little Miss Helpful held the statue of Little Miss Calamity, it was smaller than her. But when it fell next to Mr. Bump, it was bigger.
  • Before Miss Sunshine speaks for the first time, the narrator says "Providing...you follow the rules, of course". However, this is a grammatical error.
